Well other than that my Nicholas is due here in Indiana on the 26th or 27th of this month (from Canada) and I am very excited! His stay will be approximately eight weeks. I haven't seen him since last August! I have a number of things planned for him, some of them not family friendly.
And I should of course add a few things I've knitted in my absence.
The above are three wallets I've knitted. Different needle sizes, yarn colors, and buttons, but the same basic pattern. They're really handy and I enjoy carrying my credit cards around in the top right (blue, green and white) one. Not sure what to do with the other two just yet..if I'll give them away or keep them.
Additionally I've started on an autumn scarf that I hope to finish by August. I'm giving myself such a big time frame because I don't easily stick to large projects. Anyways..size 10 (US) needles and my own design. 4x4 ribbing and way smaller than I would like. Not sure if its going to be a scarf or a neck warmer as of yet..depends on how irritated I get with it.
I've had a few other projects here and there, but that would be another post for another day. Considering starting on a check cover in the yarn color of the top left wallet of the photo shown earlier (white, purple, pink, orange and yellow). I am in love with these speckled yarns.
