Some big updates..
1. Nick came and went
2. Still unemployed
3. In my 2nd (out of 4) quarter of nursing school.
By July 2011 I will have completed my LPN/LVN education and be able to take the NCLEX-PN and work as a practical nurse.
I'm getting pretty decent grades and my current GPA is 3.71. I'm pretty proud of myself.
And I'm definitely still knitting. My dish towels are getting much better.
Here is one example of a recent dish towel I made. It was the best one I found on my computer.
In the making...
& finished. Picture is blurry..I think my camera lens (via cell phone) was greasy at the time of the photo.
I've also gotten a little more creative. I am now making condom cases, but those don't seem to be very popular thus far. This one was made with US 3 needles, however I think if I make another I'll have to use US 2. It is 2"x2".
My current project..besides the plethora of dish towels I've been hired to make, is a Hogwarts Scarf. However, I'm using the pattern only thus far. The colors I already had on hand at home were orange and black, and I can't afford new yarn right now. Anyways, I'm using circulars, I just prefer them for larger projects. I hate having to worry about stitches slipping off the fabric.
Anyways, more updates later. Time to get back to knittin'!
