Knitting my wories into the background...

Well today has been a pretty boring and unenventful day. We had nothing but rain and severe weather all day, which I don't mind, but it also means I just sad around whining about my cramps while knitting, surfing the web, and watching tv all day.

In the past two days I've knitted two dishrags. One taken from this pattern and another I improvised myself.

Here's my interpretations of the Morning Glory Washcloths, done with size 3 needles because two days ago I didn't have long enough size seven needles. That has been fixed since then though. :p

The design I improvised from the Morning Glory Washcloth pattern came out better, in my opinion. Probably because I get irritated making all the little holes.

I still cast on 40 sts. but then I did garter stitch for three rows then added steps 1-4 from the aformentioned pattern and a few rows of stocking stitch. This was the result.

Nevermind my pajamas...like I said..rainy day.

I hate counting rows, so I have no idea how many rows of stocking stitch I did. But when I had enough, ending on a purl row, I repeated steps 1-4 fromt he Morning Glory pattern twice before continuing more stocking stitch.

The result:

I measured both stocking stitch sections to ensure they were about the same length before repeating steps 1-4 once more (from the pattern) then casting on 4 rows of garter stitch (trying to match the other end) and binding off.

Its 10x10 and ended up really well if I do say so myself. Especially since I improvised this project myself.

Oh forgot to add that the first and last stitches in every row are knit and US 7 needles were used! Important!

Anyways..here's the finished project.

Anyways, since I'd rather talk about my knits and not my worries, I suppose that's all I have to say for now. Time to think up some more projects!
