Tarot of the Day

Well, I don't usually do tarot. In fact, I don't remember the last time I touched the cards before tonight. But I thought it might be fun to do a Tarot of the Day and see how it worked out.

So today's card was....

The Wheel of Fortune.

I use the Robin Wood Tarot, a gift from a friend who had outgrown this deck.

According to the book it came with, this card represents "change, destiny, fortune, good luck, the end of troubles in sight. Moving ahead for better or worse."

Cryptic..

I'm not quite sure how I feel about "reversed" cards, but this one was.

Which represents " Reversal of fortunes, failure, bad luck, unexpected interference".


Looking back at today, I don't see how much of it fits, sans "failure". Many people, my fiance included, would say that means the cards are a bunch of bologna. Maybe they are..or maybe I just don't carry the "force" with me necessary to do a proper tarot reading.

Today consisted of sleeping in until 1:30 pm. Failure to wake at an appropriate time..check.
Waking up and getting dressed enough to look efficiently like a crack whore who hasn't had a bath in a week. Failure to proper hygiene..check.
Failure to count calories and failure to care..I went directly to the gas station to buy diet coke and then to DQ for two crispy chicken ranch wraps and a large fry..check.
Failure to publish this blog before midnight..check.

Not much else happened today. I cleaned, I watched TV, and I hung out on here.

Breaks are freaking awesome!
